Volunteer Management Activity - Project Based Grants 2022 - 2026
Supported through Volunteering WA's Volunteer Management Activity and funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services, the focus of the volunteer management grants program is to develop services that build the capacity of volunteer involving organisations to break down barriers to volunteering of these priority groups: First Nation People; People with Disability; Newly Arrived Migrants; Vulnerable Women; Youth; and the unemployed.

Youth Week WA 2024 Grants applications are now open
Funding of up to $1,500 for individual events and up to $3,000 for collaborative community-wide events is available for organisations to host a Youth Week WA event.

Families and Communities Program 2024–25 Volunteer Grants
Department of Social Services
The Volunteer Grants Activity is an element of the Families and Communities Program, which aims to strengthen relationships, support families, improve the well-being of children and young people, reduce the cost of family breakdown and strengthen family and community functioning. The funding for this opportunity will be available in the 2025–26 financial year.
The objectives of Volunteer Grants are to:
*Help not-for-profit community organisations to support the efforts of Australia’s volunteers
*Encourage, support and increase participation in volunteering

Rio Tinto Community Giving Program
The Community Giving program invites local grass-roots organisations to apply for up to $5,000 to support Western Australian communities where we work and live, including those neighbouring our operations and regional FIFO communities

Community Development Funding
This funding program offers grants between $1,000 and $5,000 to support community-based projects and activities delivered between 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.
The program focuses on supporting community-driven initiatives that address the eligibility criteria.
Projects must fit one of the three streams of funding:
Vibrant inclusive and connected neighbourhoods
Strong thriving community groups
Supporting the vulnerable

Trailer Hire
Planning a fundraiser, wedding, birthday, or any community event? Our BBQ trailer is available for hire and perfect for your next gathering!
Hire Options:
1. Not-for-Profit Organisation Hire
Rate: $100 per 24 hours
Details: Available for local NFP organisations. The trailer can be picked up and delivered from our storage location in the CBD.
2. Commercial Hire
Rate: $150 per 24 hours
Details: Available for members of the public. The trailer can be picked up and delivered from our storage location in the CBD.
Compulsory Cleaning Bond with each hire.
Rate: $50 per hire
Details: This applies to all hires and will be returned if the trailer is returned clean.
Additional:
Utensil Box: Each trailer hire comes with a utensil box for your use.
Cleaning Supplies: Cleaning supplies are provided in the trailer to ensure you can return it in clean condition and have your bond returned.
